Walnut meadow

Walnut meadow

We have exciting news! As part of the Bavarian orchard pact, we have created a walnut meadow with 36 trees right next to our farm and the Jerusalem artichoke fields. This project aims to protect species, preserve our cultural landscape and engage in the fight against climate change. Why walnuts and Jerusalem artichokes? The combination of walnut trees and Jerusalem artichoke plants is not only beautiful to look at, but also has profound ecological significance. Not only are walnuts delicious, but they also help reduce CO2 in the atmosphere and improve air quality. Jerusalem artichoke, which is considered the "tuber of the future", not only has culinary benefits, but is extremely healthy and contributes significantly to the preservation of the cultural landscape and our organic agriculture. Our mission: Be active and support organic farming. Our belief is that sustainable, species-rich agriculture is the key to a healthy environment. That's why we're looking forward to being able to offer organic regional walnuts in addition to Jerusalem artichokes in the future. It will take some time, but we can look forward to it! Plus, it's really a nice experience to actively build something and create something positive in these strange times! I can only recommend!
